Well, it has been some time since I went looking for 34x36 pants. A couple of my 34x36s have seen better days so I am back on the hunt. If you have had success finding 34x36 pants please share here. Always looking for some good deals or new stores, online or brick and mortar.
Some 34x36s are starting to get a bit tight. I refuse to go up a size. It is time for me to get more serious about exercising often and eating better. Pants tight at the waist are a signal to lose a few pounds, not a signal to buy larger pants. Not all pants fit the same however. Have to admit that I am reaching the limit of what loose fit 34x36 is offering. Good luck on your efforts to stay slim as well.
And don't get me started on shoes. Went shoe shopping a few weeks ago. Try finding a 12 1/2 shoe size, forget about it. Online maybe. So we can't settle for 12, too tight. And 13s can be a bit loose but our only choice. Shoe outlets are thumbing their nose at us, figure that we will settle or go elsewhere :-(. Brands do make a difference though. Some 13s fit just fine and some 12s fit just fine.
Will also be updating links below as well and making notes on last verified.

My son is 14, and is 6'4" with size 14...so I feel your pain !! :) Try 2bigfeet.com or sports authority for athletic shoes. Good luck!
It has always been a problem finding 34X36 for my son who is 6'4". However recently the Levi's outlet store had 1 or 2 pairs in each style. Bob's Stores in Connecticut also had some Wranglers. I was surprised to see these.
My son is 6'6" and wearing 34x36.
I'm really looking for Large/Tall sweatpants! He is playing basketball in college and we need pants desperately!
He is not heavy at all!!!
Does anyone have any ideas where I could find sweatpants? and/or windpants?
Angie, tall sweatpants referenced in an older post here: http://www.6ft4.com/2009/06/tall-sweat-pants-for-my-34x36-yeah-baby.html
Still no tall sweat pants at Under Armour. With their taking care of athletes and moving into basketball, why can't they make some long sweat pants for us non-pros? Come on Under Armour. Love your clothes, why nothing that fits me. I am 6ft4. Others have them: http://www.6ft4.com/2009/06/tall-sweat-pants-for-my-34x36-yeah-baby.html
Thanks for ranting a bit about our pant size. I got all pissed off trying to find 34X36 on Kohl.com but they don't have them in the normal section OR in the big/tall.
So I just googled 34x36 to see if my size even exists in the UNIVERSE. And that's how I got here.
American Eagle and J Crew both carry 34x36 pants.
I have nothing but good things to say about Cinch Jeans they are high quality and fit as advertised. As for Khaki pants I have been wearing Wrangler Riata's. They can both be found online at this retailer

I would recommend the Relaxed fit for the jeans if you are not going for the "Cowboy" look as for the Wrangler Khaki's they have a fairly relaxed fit and are true to size. Awesome blog thanks for the additional links, I might actually get to wear some different pants other than the only two brands I have known for the last 16 years.
I've found a NICE selection of denim in 34/36 and even 33/38!!!!(not for me tho) at western wear stores in Texas. My Wranglers are 35/36 and I had a pair of 'twentys' (XX) that were from TX as well.
I AM LOOKING for athletic warmup pants (not fleece, but poly) that are tall or x-tall. can't find em.
I'm 6'5'' 190lb and wear size 34x36. I've been buying my jeans and pants from Gap/Banana Republic for a few years now.
You'll need to go online to get that size, but they work great for me.
RM Williams does 35" inside leg trousers (pants) - I'm 6'4" and they're the perfect length for me.
I have found Nordstroms and Eddie Bauer as the best resources for 34/36 pants. When you buy on sale, prices are very reasonable too. Always great quality.
LEVIS! My boyfriend take a 32x36 or 33x36 and this is the only place to get jeans... they also offer a wool and cotton blend 501 straight cut version in 36 inch inseams. Amazing.
